What This Assembly Is
Most children in the room are not bullies or victims. They are the audience.
And the audience is who decides. Bullying needs onlookers who say nothing, so the child who could actually stop it is usually the one nobody is talking to.
That is who this show is aimed at. Not the child doing it, who will not be reached by an assembly, and not only the child on the receiving end, who already knows. It speaks to the ninety percent in the middle who want to help and have no idea how, and it hands them something they can actually do on Monday.
It is careful, and being careful matters here. Nobody in the room is singled out, nobody is made an example of, and nothing on stage recreates a situation a child might be living through. A show about kindness that humiliates a volunteer has taught the wrong lesson before it finishes.
