Why A Magic Assembly
A principal does not book a magic show. They book forty-five minutes they can defend.
Taking a whole school out of class needs a reason. So every one of my four assemblies is built around something you are already trying to teach: character, kindness, reading, or math. The magic is how the message gets past the point where children stop listening.

How It Works In Your Building
Almost nothing is asked of you
Every assembly runs the same way. This is the part that usually decides whether a principal says yes, so here it is plainly.
Your whole school at once
One class or the entire student body. Larger schools split into two shows back to back so every child gets a good view rather than squinting from the back.
A room and one outlet
A gym, cafeteria, stage or multipurpose room, one standard electrical outlet, and about thirty minutes to get in early. That is the whole list.
No staff, no equipment
Nobody on your team has to run anything, carry anything or stay late. I set up, I perform, I clear out.
I bring my own sound
Professional sound system and microphone. In an echoing gym this is the thing that decides whether the back three rows hear a word, and it is where most performers come unstuck.
Pitched at the room
Built for elementary and adjusted on the day for the ages actually in front of me. A room of kindergarteners and a room of sixth graders want completely different things.

Four schools have kept me on staff for nearly three decades
I am not only an assembly performer who visits once. I have been the magic teacher at four Upper Arlington elementary schools for more than twenty-eight years, and Wickliffe has had me back for events many times over on top of that.

Math-a-Magic is one of my four assemblies. It is also a booklet I wrote, teaching magic and giving teachers ideas for making math fun. Book that show and the booklet comes to your school as a PDF, a bonus for your teaching staff.
So it is not a magician who also does a math show. It is the person who wrote the book on it, delivering it, and leaving it with your teachers to keep.
