What This Assembly Is
Children already know the rules. Knowing is not the problem.
Every school teaches honesty and respect. By fourth grade a child can recite it back to you word for word and still take the shortcut. The gap is not knowledge, it is the moment of choosing, and a lecture has never once closed it.
So this show does not tell them what is right. It puts them in the moment. A trick where the easy option and the honest option pull in opposite directions, with three hundred children watching and every one of them working out what they would do.
They laugh the whole way through. That is deliberate. A child who is laughing is not defending themselves, and a child who is not defending themselves is actually listening.
